Using Our Secure Email Center
Just receive a notification about secure email from us?
Someone from Kennebec Savings Bank or Kennebec Wealth Management sent you a message containing sensitive information. To view it, you will have to register for our Secure Email Center. Click here to go straight to our registration page, or go to securemail.kennebecsavings.bank and click the Register button.
Enter your email address (the one in which you received the encrypted email from KSB or KWM), and a password that complies with the Password Rules section at the bottom of the page.
You will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org, requesting activation of your password.
(Please note: you should receive this confirmation email moments after submitting your email address and password. Be sure to check your spam folder in case you don’t appear to receive it.)
Once your activation is successful, you may access the Secure Email Center. All future secure emails from KSB or KWM will be accessible to you here.
Retrieving Secure Email
1. Your Inbox, which should display upon first signing in, shows any emails sent to you. Open an email by clicking on the Subject.
(If you don’t see anything in your inbox, double-check your usual inbox and confirm that you have registered using the email address that was originally emailed by us.)
2. The email’s contents will be displayed. If the email has attachments, clicking on an attachment’s name will prompt you to either open or save it.
Sending Secure Email
1. You may reply, reply all, or forward emails that you receive to anyone on the original message or to other Kennebec Savings Bank or Kennebec Wealth Management employees.
2. You may also write new secure emails through the Compose tab.
To add an attachment, click the Attach File button. A new page will allow you to browse your computer to find the file you wish to attach.
