Reopening Update

Beginning Wednesday, April 7, Kennebec Savings Bank will implement the next step in our phased reopening plan, which includes the following strategies and guidelines:

Teller transactions may be conducted at our teller lines without an appointment.

Out of an abundance of caution, appointments will still be required for some transactions.

What teller line services do not require an appointment?  

  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Safe deposit box access
  • Coin pick-up or drop-off 
  • Credit card cash advances
  • Debit card issuance 
  • IRA/HSA contributions
  • Loan payoffs

What services still require an appointment?

  • Loan applications
  • Account maintenance
  • New account opening
  • Online Banking maintenance
  • Medallion stamp services
  • Notarization
  • Wire transfers 

How do I make an appointment? If you have a banking need that can’t be handled at the drive-thru or isn’t on the above list, please make an appointment online by clicking here or call us at 207-622-5801. 

Stringent preventative measures will remain in place.
We will continue to adhere to all local, state, and federal guidelines, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Glass partitions at teller lines
  • Regular sanitization of high-touchpoint surfaces
  • Air purifiers at each location
  • Face coverings and social distancing requirements. Complimentary masks are available to customers should you need one.

We encourage you to use contact-free banking services whenever possible.

Although we can’t wait to see you at the teller line, our digital banking and drive-up services are still the safest way for you to meet your banking needs. 

Drive-Up Service: As the first bank in Augusta to offer drive-up service back in 1959, we are confident that we have you covered. Our team will be able to complete transactions at our Augusta, Farmingdale, Waterville, and Winthrop locations. Our employees are trained to adhere to the latest hygiene and sanitation recommendations set forth by the CDC.

Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Bank-by-Phone: Virtually all transactions can be performed using our digital banking services. Even new deposit accounts may be opened online at www.KennebecSavings.Bank. To access our Bank-by-Phone service, simply call 1-888-303-7788. Electronic Banking Centers and ATMs: Our Electronic Banking Centers provide customers with convenient 24/7 access to a drive-up ATM, interior ATM and electronic banking kiosk at locations in Freeport, Farmingdale, Manchester and on Civic Center Drive in Augusta.

Secure Night Drop Boxes: Secure, 24/7 night drop boxes are located at the Augusta, Farmingdale, Waterville, and Winthrop Kennebec Savings Bank branch locations.
